Open Arms of an Advocate

Good day everyone!!!

We hardly expect that the celebration of Software Freedom Day in USEP - Davao City, Philippines would have many guests… OMG, it really exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the wonderful effort of our very own USEP FOSS Club who untiringly organized the whole thing. We may have disagreements along the way but it gave us a very good result in the end.

Thank you very much to the people behind the celebration of SFD in USEP. I will never forget this for it is the 1st time we celebrated such kind of event in USEP (if not in Davao City, Philippines). My warm greetings and appreciation also is given to 1st District City Councilor Peter Lavina who is also an avid advocate of FOSS in this wonderful city of Davao… Thank you very much sir Pete…

To DabaweGNU penguins, congratulations comrades you gave meaning to the event and to the FOSS Community in Davao. I would like to take this opportunity as well to personally thank you guys for entrusting me (and the rest of my team - USEP FOSS Club) the organization and facilitation of the whole event.

To USEP FOSS Club, congratulations for a job well done!!!
