Returning Home

My trip back home was a very long but a very exciting one. Most of us pinoy scholars from UTS (University of Technology, Sydney) were on the same flight going back to the Philippines. It was indeed bitter-sweet happening when we were in the airport. Sad & happy exchanges of goodbyes and goodluck were heard… not to mention the tears that overflowed :) . Yes! It’s really sad to leave Sydney but we are excited to go back home to see our loved ones.

We arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport around 8PM and all of us were in a hurry and excited to meet friends and family in the airport. We met Ferdie’s family who fetched him… I wasn’t able to see Henry (Tonette’s wife) to say hi… next time na lang pare. Me, Lisette, Ate Arlyn and Art were left because we’re not from the capital city. Ate & Lisette went straight to their hotel accommodation while Art & I hired a cab (me going straight to centennial airport for my early flight in the morning and art going to his hotel). It was really quick and all of us didn’t have a chance to properly say goodbye and see yah latah guys… nakakamiss yung mga kasama ko sa murrell street. How I wish I could see them soon. I miss my friend(s) Marco, Manny, Lucy, Louise and Vanessa (kita lang ta puhon wags).
More to come from my Sydney experience.
