Belated Happy Birthday 2 me
Wheeewwwww! It’s a very delayed posting for my birthday (hehehe, deliberately done so that others who don’t know the exact date will continue guessing). It’s been a while since my last message was posted. Anyway, this time I will talk about my special day w/c I celebrated together w/ my fellow scholars at our humble abode in ashfield, nsw.
It was my very first birthday celebrated outside the Philippines and without my family and friends. When i woke up in the morning I was expecting an overflow of greetings in my mobile, unfortunately only few remembered (apil na cguro ka!). Anyway, I started the day right with a delicious breakfast (continental kuno!). I opened my laptop and waited for more greetings, again… only few remembered. Only my immediate family and my girlfriend were there to greet, but it’s more than enough. I have mixed emotions as I wanted to go back home just to celebrate my birthday (mingaw dri wala’y inom) but it’s really expensive to go home from here and then back. So I spent the day thinking of the things that I did last year for my birthday. Luckily, my housemates (Tonette & Ferdie… salamat) marinated something for me… my goodness T-bone. I was delighted to move on and planned my recipe for the night coz I was expecting that my housemates and other friends will come over and celebrate with me. We ordered pizza, I cooked beef steak, some cake (lisette baked 2 more, thank you…), and lotsa drinks. For the drinks, hmmm… thanks to ranie and sandro for helping me (dyan sila magaling sa inuman bwahaha) we bought 2 boxes of beer (way lami kay light diay) 2 boxes of wine and a barrel of heineken.Well, it was an enjoyable moment for me since it was my first time to celebrate overseas and have those food & drinks we’ve never tasted before (except the common ones). We ate early and other housemates (Tonette, Arlyn & Ben) were late that’s why they are not in the picture. Anyway, thanks mate…
